Jazz Camp Fest

An immersive 4-day overnight music festival in the redwoods of La Honda, Northern California.

Living Jazz aims to provide a welcoming experience for all. Please explore our variety of accommodation options and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Our 4 day, 3-night experience includes:

  • Lodging Options (on-site/offsite)

ON-SITE OPTIONS

On-site cabins are shared with approximately 6-8 people, and separated male, female, gender inclusive.

Couples who want to stay together have the following options:

  • Camping

  • Camper Van/RV

  • Sarah Vaughan Private Group Cabin (for themselves or up to 7)

  • Off site lodging (Siden or other)

All cabins are on a first-come, first-served basis. All other cabin options are gender specific.

Please Note: For those staying in cabins, you are welcome to let us know your roommate preference(s). 

With COVID-19 in mind, you will be asked to acknowledge that you understand you are sharing a cabin with vaccinated individuals and are willing to take responsibility for any health or liability issues.

There are two choices of on-site cabins, and one camping option:

SARAH VAUGHAN CABINS

Shared bathroom and shower inside cabin. This Sarah Vaughan cabin contains 6 bunk beds. One bunk does not have a bottom bed, therefore there are 11 beds. There is one additional small private room with a twin bed, for a total of 12 cabin beds. Shared bathroom and shower inside cabin. Cabins are given on a first-come basis. You are welcome to let us know your choice of roommates and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

THELONIOUS MONK CABINS

This cabin option includes access to bathrooms and showers in nearby central bathhouses. Thelonious Monk cabins contain 6-8 bunk beds. Each person will get both the top and bottom bunk. Cabins are given on a first-come basis. You are welcome to let us know your choice of roommates.

CAMPING AND RV’S

The redwood setting provides a host of tent camping opportunities. Campers provide their own camping gear. You are also welcome to bring a camper or small RV. However, Jones Gulch is not an actual campground and there are absolutely no hook-ups. Tents, campers or RV's will park on either of the 2 ballfields on site. We do not offer electricity.

COMMUTING

Our Commuter fee includes all three meals and snacks.

SIDEN CONFERENCE CENTER 

Saturday and Sunday night only- Not available Friday night

Siden Conference Center at Redwood Glen Camp is a wonderful option for those preferring private single or double rooms. Only a 5-minute drive from Jones Gulch, Siden Conference Center at Redwood Glen Camp has beautiful rooms, each with two double beds, private bath with shower, and small deck. In addition to the Jazz Camp Fest commuter rate, you will be charged a fee for Saturday and Sunday night at Siden. Unfortunately Siden is not available on friday night. Included in your fee is the option of staying in a shared cabin Friday night on-site. You may find your own accommodation off-site for Friday night if that is preferable to you. 

If interested in sharing a room (each room has two double beds) there is a separate charge per person.

If you are interested in staying at Siden, please check  “Siden Single or Double " on your enrollment form. These Siden rooms are very popular and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. There are only 22 rooms total at Siden, so if interested, enroll immediately to reserve your room. They go fast!

Bed & Breakfasts and State Campgrounds

La Honda and the surrounding area have a limited number of Bed and Breakfasts. There are also a couple of public campgrounds. We encourage you to get the most updated information to explore your options for staying off site
